Indications

Used for the management of TMJ disorders and bruxism by repositioning the mandible to a therapeutic position.

Contraindications

Patients with acrylic or resin allergies
Active periodontal disease or poor oral hygiene compromising fit
Anterior tooth mobility or compromised incisal integrity
Non-compliant patients unable to attend follow-up appointments for adjustment or monitoring

Limitations

Covers only anterior teeth and prevents posterior occlusion; retention may be limited in cases with reduced incisor morphology or spacing
Short‑term therapeutic use intended; risk of irreversible occlusal changes or anterior open bite with long-term continuous wear

Preparation

Submit a maxillary intraoral scan capturing intact anterior teeth; include opposing arch for occlusal reference if needed. No reduction or physical model required. Ensure centric relationship and vertical dimension are recorded digitally.

Policies & Warranty

Godent offers a 1 year limited warranty covering material defects and manufacturing errors. In case of failure due to lab error and return of the original appliance with case details, we will remake or repair the device free of charge. All digital scan and prescription files are stored securely for efficient reproductions or customised modifications upon request.
