Flexible Partial Dentures

Indications

Used as a removable full or partial denture, offering an alternative to traditional acrylic materials.

Contraindications

Extensive distal extension (Class I/II) situations due to limited rigidity and support
Patients with severe occlusal discrepancies or parafunctional habits
Need for occlusal rests or rigid clasping systems not compatible with nylon-based material
Cases requiring predictable relines and adjustments—flexible materials are more difficult or may need full remake

Limitations

Color stability may degrade over years; prone to staining and discoloration over time
Repairs and relines are less predictable and often require full remake
Not indicated for long spans over distal extension areas or unsupported edentulous areas
Surveying and rigid support structures are not feasible with flexible material

Preparation

No tooth or tissue preparation required. Submit an intraoral scan, along with the opposing model and bite registration. An intraoral try‑in or interim setup is recommended before final processing

Internal digital or manual quality control for clasp thickness, tissue adaptation and tooth placement
Visual inspection for shade match and gingival blend
Final clinical try‑in to verify retention, comfort, and function before shipping

Godent provides a 1 year limited warranty covering material defects or manufacturing errors. A no‑fault remake policy applies when original appliance is returned within warranty period and accompanied by case review. Digital records are securely stored to allow re-fabrication or revisions upon request.
