Contraindications

Insufficient tooth structure for proper bonding
Very small cavities better suited for direct restorations

Limitations

Limited esthetics compared to full-ceramic crowns
Risk of debonding if preparation or bonding protocol is inadequate
Not ideal for teeth with extensive structural damage or endodontic treatment
