Indications

Used to deprogram muscles and stabilize the mandible in centric relation, aiding in occlusal analysis and treatment planning.

Contraindications

Patients with known acrylic or resin allergies
Severe vertical skeletal discrepancies that require precise repositioning beyond splint capability
Cases where full-contact splints are contraindicated or functional repositioning is inappropriate

Limitations

Intended for short-term diagnostic use, not long-term occlusal guard
May produce a posterior open bite if worn beyond advised duration
Retention dependent on anatomical undercuts; no clasps or attachments used

Preparation

Submit an intraoral scan of the maxillary (or mandibular) arch; include opposing arch if needed. Ensure occlusal contacts and centric relation have been recorded digitally. No tooth reduction is required.

Policies & Warranty

Godent provides a 1 year limited warranty covering material and production defects. If the device fails due to manufacturing issues, it will be remade or repaired at no cost when the original splint and case details are returned and reviewed by the technical team. Digital records are securely stored for efficient reproductions or tailored modifications in future requests.
